Phoenix Grey DIY Video Series
I led the development and execution of Phoenix's YouTube channel, guiding him to attain a milestone of 100,000 subscribers within two years. My strategic approach centered on establishing a consistent content schedule, with weekly uploads every Sunday, to foster audience engagement and anticipation.
I conceived and designed the video format, provided lighting, cinematography, and direction for Phoenix, and managed the editing process. By integrating my expertise in branding, platform algorithms, and a sense of humor, I optimized content for viewer retention and channel growth. Essentially, I served as Phoenix’s dedicated producer, ensuring uniformity and quality across all digital platforms.
Orenmeetsworld Case Study Series
Given the highly specialized nature of Oren's content within the branding and marketing domain, it was crucial to identify targeted video topics that resonate effectively with his audience. Initially, Oren was responsible for filming and editing his YouTube videos independently.
I provided strategic guidance to refine his channel’s direction by optimizing the format and editing style. This involved implementing data-driven strategies derived from viewer retention metrics and YouTube analytics, such as initiating videos with a compelling hook, incorporating references within the first three seconds, integrating impactful on-screen text, and utilizing transitions and visual elements aligned with his personal style. The overarching objective was to exemplify his own principles by ensuring his content maintained the high standards he advocates, thereby solidifying his position as a leading authority within his niche.
Oren Art Direction (Guangzhou Valuable Shoot)
To strengthen his presence in branding and marketing, I traveled with Oren to document real-time moments that further highlighted his expertise. "Oren Meets World" evolved from a mere social handle into a distinct content pillar, elevating his public profile. On these trips I served as his strategist, producer, director, videographer, and photographer.
Nick Clarke Open Casket (Creative Work)
Action sports have long been a personal passion, and I wanted to share a creative project I was privileged enough to direct and produce. This video represents the culmination of a two‑year passion project. My directing and producing skills originated in action sports eighteen years ago and have informed every project throughout my career.
Short Form
Dominique Baker Hater Comment Series
Dominique plays the internet’s rich auntie, and she often talks about being in her 40s and choosing not to have kids which draws a lot of hateful comments.
In one video someone wrote “When you’re in a nursing home, not now” implying she’d regret it later. Dominique wasn’t sure how to respond so I quickly came up with a better angle: flip it into something positive and funny. I suggested she describe her dream nursing home life with her signature sarcastic vibe, a quick hook and an easy video idea.
Here is another example of Dominiques content in which I explain how to create a video loop, one of the most effective techniques for maximizing viewer retention on social platforms
Peace Haje Walk of Fame Series
Peace is a leading figure in the modeling industry, and I had the privilege of developing a strategy that positions her as the art director of her own narrative. This video demonstrates how we transformed an everyday skincare routine into a cinematic "Walk of Fame" vignette.
I handled pre‑production, direction, and cinematography, meticulously designing the opening to establish tone, selecting gimbal-mounted movement to retain fluidity, and staging a deliberate encounter (with me) to introduce urban unpredictability. I also curated playful, exaggerated props pulled from her "Mary Poppins" bag to inject levity and visual contrast.
Here is a video I created explaining the premise of the video
Orenmeetsworld Region Maxxing Series
To strengthen his presence in branding and marketing, I traveled with Oren to document real-time moments that further highlighted his expertise. "Oren Meets World" evolved from a mere social handle into a distinct content pillar, elevating his public profile. On these trips I served as his strategist, producer, director, videographer, and photographer.
Here is a video in which I explain the strategy behind this series
Phoenix Grey Shopping Series
As an interior designer, Phoenix shares his takes on good and bad interior design aimed at homeowners who want to upgrade their space on a budget. As Phoenix’s producer, we toured top budget friendly home decor and furniture stores to show what he would buy and avoid.
I helped plan, direct, shoot, and edit. In this video I had Phoenix sit on the most popular couch at IKEA instead of just standing. That simple move gives viewers immediate context, signaling the video is about furniture, visual cues matter as much as audio.
In this video I explain the importance of visual cues, especially for branded content
